STORY STARTER

Submitted by Alana Topakian

All she ever wanted was that side-splitting, life-changing, end-of-the-world type of love. Yet, as she sat alone on her bathroom floor, she realised her world was ending, just not in the way she’d hoped.

Fragments Of Love ❤️

She searched for that cosmic love, and she yearned,

A love so fierce, the world turned.

But on her bathroom floor, crying unroped,

Her world shattered, she dreams eloped.

Fragments of a heart that was once whole,

The scattered stars are beyond control.

Endings do not crescendo,

But there are hints of love's shadow.

She learned in pain that love is bittersweet,

A blend of delight and heart's defeat.

The ruins were where she found her art,

Mending pieces are a brand new start.
