I commend you on your paragon of patience

When I’m snappy or slow to things

And don’t get your jokes

I may have a few loose screws

I’m just so glad that I met you

I was kind of a reticent person when we first met, demure even

I’m still demure but just a little more open

All thanks to you

You’re such a kind person even though you deny it

Or maybe your just kind to me

But you’re still “so goddamn rude!”
