Dear love that was once mine,

I cannot and will not walk this earth with you, for in this life we do not know each other. I knew you once, we loved one another once, but our time has passed. I will love you in every life, I will find you and give you my words in every world, but you do not know me.

It saddens me to know you love another. but how can I blame you for a love we shared only once. I have long since passed from the mortal plane you wander, but lest you ever forget me, I send you my love.

we had something so long ago. I pray for your happiness now and in your future. you have so much life to live, where there is no more these worlds can offer me. our love was drastic to begin with, so it is with a heart of lead that I leave you today.

forgive me, but I do not wish to suffer while watching you thrive. never forget my love. I will never forget yours. be happy with the loves you may meet, be happy with the children you will have, be happy when you kiss your grandchildren the first time, just be happy.

Dear voice in my heart,

I will not walk this earth without you. I have pondered on the love in my heart and though you are gone, it remains. I wish to be happy, but I cannot bear to live without you. I wasn't made to live without you.

I don't care what love we had was tainted. I don't care about the regrets, I want to have you, I want your love, your happiness, your smiles, and your face.

do not assume what happiness is for me. I want children and grandchildren but with no one but you. we truly loved so long ago, and I wish you had not left me on this earth, I wish you had waited for your time to come, but I will not be angry with you.

I have had many loves, but you are the only one I want. so I ask one thing of you, wait. wait for me in your afterlife. wait in the other worlds for me. wait to abandon what we have. I will join you soon enough, but I have a life to live. I will live it for both of us. always.
