I saw her walking towards the café and I followed her. My heart beats fast, I’m shaking and I don’t know why or maybe because I will confess to her today. It’s been 3 years since I had a crush on her and I don’t think I have a chance but what if? There is.

I went inside the café and went towards her. She has no one beside her so I ask. “Hey? Cassie, can I talk to you for a minute?”

Cassie look at her with confused expression but she want to know what will he about to say so she nod.

I nod. “Umm… uh.. uh yeah about that…” my voice is shaky and my breath hitched. Please… oh my lord I’m so nervous.

Cassie raised her brow. “About what?”

I look at her for a second and look away.

“Don’t look away, come on tell me don’t make me wait.” She exclaimed.

I nod. I took a deep breath. This is it, I will confess to her.

“Umm… I… I like you.” I close my eyes not daring to meet her eyes. I spoke again. “I… I like you the first time we met and that was 3 years ago. I fell in love with you. The day I saw you I know I fell. When you told me that you like someone else… I… I told to myself that I will stop crushing you but eventually I can’t because I fell too hard. 2 years passed and it’s still the same until it’s three from now on. I’m too scared to confess you because what if I’ll got rejected but if I will then… ‘I look at her with my eyes’ then I’ll accepted it but don’t expect to be move on so fast.”

Cassie’s expression is shocked. What will she say? What will she do? It’s full of questions.

“I… Ethan I’m sorry first but you can’t have me, I already have a boyfriend and we are engaged so I hope we will still be friends. Btw I appreciate your confession. I really did. Thank you.”

Ethan look at him with sadness but he didn’t show it off. He nod. He needs to go, he needs to cry.

Ethan spoke. “I’ll go now. Thank you for your spare time.”

Cassie nod.

Ethan run and run and run until he got into a pond where there’s no one. He screamed in pain. His emotions were filled with pain and sadness.

Full of questions. What if he confess to her 3 years ago? Basically he will have a chance to her but he’s an idiot who just didn’t confess.

3 years later

He will be graduate college and he’s happy but there’s still missing. It was her. He look at her direction and see her fiancé. She’s happy though so Ethan should be happy either.

That day he realized he should move on and live his life and his dream to become a surgeon.

It took him months to move on from her and now he’s fully living his life and a single father. He adopted a child. He’s happy and he’s glad.
