Faultline

The family is the strongest tree

Bares the fruits that feeds the soul

And holds the shade

From the harshest Sun

But when the fruits are venin be

The dance begins to guard the heart

From slights and wounds that leave a gash

Torrential fall of resentments reign

My fault, your fault or no fault claimed

Brings the need of boundaries fence

Protection from a drowning tribe

The day is yet where wounds are healed

But if not, life is inviolate to me
