Til Death
It had been four years since Kyra’s disappearance, I wanted to believe she was just a run away bride. We’d searched everywhere for her but she was never found. She’d always said that she’d die before we make it down the alter due to perfection she craved. The day we were supposed to wed, she looked at me and mouthed “I’m sorry”. With that she ran into the forested area and disappeared, authorities didn’t do much looking and assumed she ran away. They did find a white cloth that they dismissed as a tear from her dress and offered it to me, I accepted. I came back because ever since then I’ve had a connection to the forrest, like I still feel her presence. Exploring the forrest, i stumble across a historical marker of a glass crypt that has to be a few decades old, only known as the “perfect bride”. Letting my curiosity get the best of me, I approached the glass crypt and to my horror there laid my wife Kyra, but she was now bones with white cloth draping her body, I didn’t understand but I knew it was her because of the look in her eyes.
