The Beginning Of The End
In a warm house, far away from the dangers of the world, a young girl picks the petals of a four leaf clover, reciting the names of each of the elements per petal, until there were no more to pick.
From the water emerges a young woman, her body clear, completely formed of water, her hair long, connection to the ocean beneath her as she walked towards an island.
From the atmosphere, a boy forms, his body made of wind, he is almost completely invisible except a barely visible outline, he headed towards an island, dirt and leaves catching onto him as he did, making him more visible.
The sun bubbles up as a firey woman emerges, her hair firey and curly, she plummeted down to earth, crash landing onto an island.
From the island itself, a man emerges, made of stone and dirt, moss and small plants and weeds sprouting from his body.
The four elements- reformed to look like the humans that inhabited this earth. Now left to stand together. “What’s this?” The firey woman asked, her voice sturdy and strong, her hot red gown made from the same fire she was, her footing strong on the sandy island below her.
“Perhaps we were summoned?” the lady of water spoke meekly, unsure of herself, tucking a strand of her floor length hair behind her liquid ear. Her oceanic gown held seashells, almost for decoration.
The earthly man glanced around, his gruff voice a little too loud for comfort. “Who summoned us?” He asked, reaching a hand up to scratch his beard, a beard made completely of plants, dirt falling out of it as he did so.
The boy of air, shorter than all the rest shrugged.
“Wasn’t me.” He spoke, his voice squeaky and pre-pubescent.
The four stood in an incomplete circle, a space between the boy of air and the lady of water empty, almost as if saving a spot for one more. Almost as if on cue, a glow emits from said space, dropping the stem of a four leaf clover beneath it. “I summoned you all.” The glowing spirit spoke.
Thunder struck in the middle of the circle where they stood, the light burning into the ground, tracing the shape of a star between them all, a circle forming outside of the group aswell. Until at last, they all stood at a corner of the star, nearing the the circle around them all. The star begins to emit light, different colours for each element, blue for water, yellow for air, red for fire, green for earth and lastly, pure white for the spirit.
After a few moments, it burst, swirling each colour into a spiral that reached into space, before each element dissolved into their own retrospective place. Unable to form back into their humane selves, all but spirit, in which exploded into an infinity of pieces, sent to every living form to ever exist now and in the future.
Marking the beginning of a new era; the end.
