What is life what is it about

Full of questions and filled with doubt

Do I measure my achievements with a dollar sign

Or do I look around me at all the love that’s mine

I am at a point in life so deeply in thought,

Many ups and downs and the lessons they have taught

And when I look back or forward filled with fear

I close my eyes I know what I hold dear

My children my grandkids all gathered round me here

My heart is filled with love and pride at the site of each and everyone

And even though they may not know it they’re all my rising sun

As for Aaliyah Emilio and Noah I sing your praises loud

And so I continue down this path on route to judgment day
