High above the city I sit

The world on display for me to see

New perspective

Things that seem so big shrink from this vantage point

Getting lost in the mundane seems so silly

I share this world with others

With people I agree with and many I don't

We must find common ground I know you don't hate me

But you hate some who agree with me

What makes me different

High above the city none of this matters

The sky is blue and clear

Birds sing hot air balloons float by

I'm alone but not lonely

I Feel empowered from this view point
