Labyrinth
Mia, Emily, Chase, and Carter have been friends for god knows how long. They’ve been by each other’s side. One day, they decided to go on a vacation. They went to a strange hotel, and once they entered the doors, they were gone.
Mia and the others woke up an an unfamiliar floor. Chase sat up first. “Where are we? This doesn’t look like a hotel to me…”. Mia sat up as well, quickly followed by Carter, and Emily. Carter spoke up, his voice poisoned with an unfortunate sense of fear. “That’s probably because this isn’t a hotel!”. Carter yelled. Emily shushed him. “Shhh! We don’t want to get unwanted attention”. Emily was right. They had no idea who was there. What was there. They just needed an exit. Carter took the initiative and walked around. “I found a door”. Carter stood in front of a door that had said, 001. Huh. Weird. Emily followed, and spoke timidly. “What if this is a hotel? Then what hotel are we at?”. Mia and Chase stayed back, looking at their surroundings more throughly. Mia’s face looked worried, Chase’s more calm. “How did we get here?” Mia spoke softly, her eyes narrowing as they darted across the room. Carter opened the door, as it made a DINK sound. Everyone’s heads snapped towards him. “What?” Carter asked. “The tension was killing me!” Carter commented jokingly. “Now isn’t the time, Carter…” Mia pushed past him, annoyed at his antics. Carter chuckled. He was the joker of the group.
They entered a familiar room. The other side, 002 door. “How many doors are there?” Chase asked. Emily looked around in confusion. “Weren’t we just here?””Clearly not” Carter responded, his voice laced with determination. The lights started flickering, and a loud rushing sound echoed the halls from behind them. “The hell?” Emily called out, barely recognizing her own voice on the process. The sound got louder. “Run!” Carter yelled. They darted to the other door. Too late. The entity rushed in. Disappeared. Mia, Emily, Chase, and Carter, were gone with it.
