The Dark Moon

Ambrose watched as the girl cautiously stepped into the room, her eyes scanning the empty space. He longed to reach out to her, to make some form of connection in his desolate afterlife. Gathering his strength, he mustered a faint whisper, hoping she would hear him.

"Hello," he murmured, his voice barely audible.

The girl frozen in her tracks, her eyes widening with fear. She looked around, searching for the source of the voice, but found no one.

Ambrose's heart sank, realizing that his attempt to communicate had only scared her farther. He felt a pang of sadness, the weight of his loneliness growing heavier.

Desperate to communicate, Ambrose summoned all his courage and tried again, but this time his voice was more clear "please, don't be afraid. I mean you no harm," he pleaded, his voice echoed from the empty

room.
