Silence Had A Smell

If silence had a scent, it would carry the delicate, crisp fragrance of a morning mist, untouched by noise or movement. It would smell like fresh air after rain, clean and light, with faint notes of pine or cedar from distant forests. There might be a subtle hint of cool stone, like the inside of a cave, blending with the softness of fallen leaves. Silence would smell pure and calming, with a whisper of lavender or chamomile, evoking a sense of stillness and peace, as if time itself had paused to breathe.
