POEM STARTER
Heavy rain, cracked windows, and a forgotten song.
Use these descriptors as inspiration for a poem.
My Moony
And as the rain tapped at the windows
The slow soothing sound
It sounded like a forgotten song
I hadn't heard it in so long
It reminded me of a boy that I once knew
I hadn't thought of him in a while
I wonder if he's thought about me too
And how he made me smile
His eyes were like a forest, dark and green, like the trees
His hair brown and curly, softer than you would ever believe
His face sharp, scars laid on top
His voice smooth and soothing, I never wanted him to stop
Now I sit here in this cell, sad and alone
I remember the boy, the one who I once called home
