Desperate for a breakthrough

A reason to breath easy again

At peace only for a minute or two

The facade is hell to maintain

Who knew life could come

In so many shades of hurt

It would be grace to feel numb

To be able to channel it into my art

Allow myself the aid I crave

Make the healing permanent

Handover the driving seat to faith

Let my hope be forever prominent
