The Mark
The rain and lighting furious as if Zeus the god of sky was at war with Poseidon the god of sea. Lilliana held on tight to a piece of broken board from her fathers ship, the same ship that was as destroyed by the fierce sea. Lillian’s slowly gets weaker by the minute trying to keep herself above water. I’m sorry mother, I can’t hold on anymore. I will always be there with you, take care of little brother. She said to herself wishing her mother could hear her. As Lilliana let go, she let herself gently sink to the bottom of the ocean.
As she was sinking she saw a man jump into the water after her, but she didn’t care she knew that she would die this way. As her lungs filled with water Lilliana closed her eyes and dreamed of what heaven would be like.
