POEM STARTER

The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold; a place once so magical now hurt to behold.

Write a rhyming poem that ends with this line.

Loss of Love

Once, each twinkling light held wonder and awe, But now they serve as painful reminders of what we saw. The memories we shared under the vast expanse, Now tainted by heartbreak and a haunting dance. The stars used to guide us through the darkest night, But now they mock us with their fading light. The beauty we once found in the cosmic display, Now only serves to drive our dreams away. The moon, once a beacon of hope and love, Now shines on us from high above. It’s gentle glow a cruel reminder of the past, A love that faded quickly, could not last. The night sky that once held so much wonder, Now only fills our hearts with thunder. The stars that once seemed so bright and bold, Now serve as a reminder of a love grown cold. So as I gaze up at the sky above, I can’t help but feel the loss of love. The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold; A place so magical now hurt to behold.
