Dear Mother,

Hello. I hope you’re doing well. I know that the last time I saw you, I made fun of you. I didn’t mean what I said. I miss you dearly. I need you. Why did you have to leave me? I never would have thought that you would leave this soon. If I only knew, I would have spent more time with you, I would have laughed at every joke you told, even if they weren’t funny, I would spend every minute with you, loving you, being there for you, like you have always been there for me. Thank you for always helping me with life, it can get messy sometimes. And now, I don’t know how to handle it. Life is bringing its hardships already.

I wish you were here with me but I understand. You were in pain, and you needed to rest.
