The heat from the sun rests on my face, the warmth so familiar and strong, so comforting and peaceful. My head pounds, an ache forming from resting against an oak tree. I inhale in a breath of fresh air, placing my hands on the wet grass and lifting up onto the ground. The wind blows through the forest, the leaves gliding through the air. The wind gets stronger as I take in the view. I need to get out of here. The wind blows through my hair like a cloud of fresh air. As I turn around a snake slithers through the leaves heading towards me. No, no no. I have to run. No. I wipe my hands on my knees and run off to the side. As I turn my head around, I spot the snake getting closer to me. I need to run faster. When I pick up my pace, my foot misses a step and I fall right onto the ground. No, the snake. I quickly get up and run, my body shaking.
