Talks
I woke up to the Sun glaring through my window. I looked at my clock 7-20 A.M. it read. I rolled over to see my little brother standing in my doorway. "What are you doing Tom?" I asked rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. "I need to talk to you." He said, "Alright about what?" I said patting my bed in a sign to come sit. "Sissy I'm scared." Now I knew something was wrong my 13-year-old brother almost never called me sissy anymore. "What is the matter," I asked pulling him closer to me. He bit his lip nervously. "Promise you won't tell." He asked. "Of course I won't I'm your big sister you can tell me anything." He nodded and seemed to steel himself. "Fay I think I'm gay." I was confused why was he scared about that. "Why are you scared?" I asked. "People will judge me Fay and I don't know what I'll do if I lose everyone." "Oh, Tommy you won't lose everyone." "Even if you lose all your friends which if there true friends you won't but even if you do you'll still have me you'll always have me." "Really?" He asked with tears in his eyes. "Of course." "Thanks, sissy." He said and gave me one of the biggest smiles ever. "Any time," I said ruffling his hair. "Hey stop that." I smiled and pulled him into a hug. I looked at my clock to see that it now read 7-30 A.M. That was only ten minutes of what it took to be a big sister but I wouldn't change it for the world. .
