"I’m not in the mood," I exhale, feeling the heavy figure against my chest as his hands explore my body. They freeze. He shifts his weight and takes my hand in his, soothing.

I let myself drown in his ocean eyes full of sweetness and adoration. He softly kisses my cheek.

"Thank you for telling me" he reassures.

"I knew I’d regret it if I didn’t say it right now"

"Good, I want you to talk to me." His fingers on my stomach are now entangled, caressing my hair as he holds me like a precious work of art.

And for the first time, I feel safe.
