I often think of nights I spent alone, Shedding tears in darkness, without a home. And when I touch the scars left on my skin, It takes me back to places I have been. But then I get down on my knees and pray, Thank God for his eternal love and Grace. If i’d never given my life to him, I’d still be on the streets living in sin.
