This is it. Leaving my childhood. Moving off into the unknown. To learn about passions. To learn many lessons. To learn about myself. Mom cared for me through all of the tough times. Ever since I was a baby. She poured sweat to remove my sweat. Dad helped me develop as a person. Giving me the skills necessary to write. To listen and grow my passion. Dad kept me alive. He worked and warmed me in his nest. Found and fed me worms in the garden’s dirt. Now it’s time to leave my nest and fly into new heights. The sun shines as always. Yet, the joyful rain pours out of our eyes and onto the mud as we hug together tightly like a storm cloud. We will always be together. So with that, we said our goodbyes, and I head towards the skies.
