They say forgiveness is a virtue, but I’d rather keep my anger.

Anger
The pulse of it
The thrum of it
In my veins
Drives, drives, drives
Thoughts, action, hunger for progress
Who am I without this fire?
How do I keep going without it?
So familiar
So comforting
The pulse of it
The thrum of it
This fire
I don’t want to let go
