“Y-you? My god why is it you that I have as my new roommate.” I said out loud inside the dorm.

“Damn, I’d say the same thing, your the most annoying people I’ve ever met.” He replied. Then we started having a long quarrel. He slammed the door and left. Then the other two roommates came back from buying groceries.

“Whoa, what was going on with you two, I saw Ivan left the dorm, Dan did you know him before or something?” One of them said.

“Yes, he used to be my high school classmate, we had several conflicts before.” I answered, they place their grocery bags on the table and sat on their bed.

“Well, he’s now your new roommate, you gotta get used to him staying here no matter you like it or not. I hope you guys can solve this issue soon.” He advised. I lied on my bed thinking what should I do. I know that Wolse is right, maybe I should try to talk it out with Ivan once he comes back from wherever he went. Finally, Ivan returned after seemingly going to a restaurant, I can see the remains on his lips.

“Hey Ivan, I have things to say, do you feel like hearing it?” I asked, afraid of him still mad about the unpleasant quarrels we had.

“What is it? Are you going to try mock me again?” He replied paying no attention to what I am about to say, then he turned to my side after closing the door.

“You know, we’re going to be roommates, so can we both compromise on our dislike for each other?” I asked calmly.

“Your right, there’s no need for us to mind what happened in the past, let this be a new start.” He agreed. Then we started becoming friends.
