And the laughter of delight.

I've witnessed love in bloom,

And the end of hopeless fights.

I've seen the dawn of new days,

And the dusk of old ones past.

I've seen the birth of new life,

And the breath of one's last.

I've seen the world in chaos,

And the calm that follows through.

I've seen the light in darkness,

And the darkness in light too.

I've seen too much, it's true,

And yet I still remain.

A witness to this world,
