I find no comfort in silence. Silence is the all encompassing tune that plays in our souls. It is the wordless smiles and thoughtless actions. Or is it?

See this, I know to be true, contrary to popular belief, silence is not the absence of sound. In fact, it is the absence of whimsy.

Without whimsy, the world is cold and cruel. Without playfulness, the world is lost. Without joyful noise the world is effectively rendered silent.

All things with good have noise. One can recognize the sound of leaves drifting down as easily as they can hear the smile beaming from a child’s face.

Silence is not the absence of noise, but the absence of joy.
