Dear Pierre

Dear Pierre,

Hey Pierre, it's Herbert from upstairs. I'm not sure if you know my name, but there it is, it's Herbert. I don't think we've ever had a formal introduction in the three years that I've lived above you. I think I only know your name because I sometimes get your mail.

Anywho, I'll just cut to the chase, because I really don't know how to build up to something like this.

I know you're a vampire.

This is going to sound weird, it might even sound cruel and for that, I apologize. When I first met you I thought something was wrong. I'm not a doctor, I'm not even a nurse. But I work for Blue Shield Health Services as a call representative. Your overall pale demeanor came off as concerning to me. I know it's none of my business, and that's why I never asked. I personally just thought you had some kind of skin disease. Then I caught onto the fact that I only saw you come out at night. I work remote and...I hate to say it but I learned the routines of everyone who lives in our complex without even trying. I think it's something you pick up when you don't have co-workers to talk to on your lunch or breaks. Nevertheless, I realized that you were only a night person.

I had my suspicions, and kind of just kept them in the back of my mind and to myself. Then the other night, we got home around the same time. And I saw the most gorgeous girl under your arm as you led her into your apartment. I didn't mean to look, again it's none of my business, but as I walked by your window...I got my confirmation. I saw your teeth turn into fangs. I saw the tantalizing stare she had as she looked into your eyes, the gaze she held as she ripped off her clothes. I will say that I left before things got crazy, but as I said I got my confirmation.

Allow me to be blunt again. I want in. I'm not the happiest with my life, I don't hate it, but it certainly isn't going in the route I had intended. Do you turn other guy's into vampires? If not can you recommend someone who will? Just thought I'd ask.

Yours Truly,

Herbert Higgins
