I protect you each day I protect you at night I protect you in battle and when you wounded in fight But you’ve never thanked me Because you don’t know that I’m there Until you notice me, I’ll pull out my hair I’ll remain really angry and start to resent you Because all I’ve ever wanted was you to hang onto.

some people like to hang out with friends when they need a break from reality. i find the same feeling in writing.
