It was normal for me to go fishing in the middle of the night. After all I liked the silence and serenity and I also loved fishing. So for me, it just made sense. Though, after what I found tonight…I might just stop fishing all together.

It started out normal, I unpacked my supplies and sat down on the edge of the dock. After setting everything up I started to fish. After a few hours I still got nothing, until I felt a huge tug on the fishing line.

I was glad I caught something. Suddenly, I found that no matter how hard I tried, I could not pull the fishing line up. Slowly but surely, I started to lose my footing.

Then I was submerged in the deep, dark, icy blue water. It looked like it was rotting. It had the tail of a shark, but torso of a human. Though it looked like the two parts were sewn together.

I started to lose my consciousness. I was so afraid. Thankfully, I was found and taken to the hospital.

But, sometimes I think I can see it. Staring at me.
