A huge creature rose out of the water! It’s tentacles were long as football pitches! It had holes all over it like craters on the moon! Smoke came out of its chin forming fog all round! It’s mouth was so huge it could swallow a person whole! It’s sharp teeth could cut through diamond! It had webbed fins on its back that were disproportionately small for a creature of that size!

This was the sea monster!

He roared, loud and long! All the humans had doubled over crying out from the noise! The monster looked down at the two armies which had paused their battle in shock of this incredible and terrifying creature.

The monster reached down and swallowed one army whole! The other army ran away. With no other army to fight they had won the war, the monster had been their saviour but the other army’s killer!

Was this monster to be considered a hero or a villain? We shall never know.
