I begged you to stay

for everything to remain the same

so that nothing would change

but you left anyways.

the flowers turned gray

all joy washed away

and yesterday faded into today.

All of our friends stand here,

surounding your grave.

We lay flowers the color of the rainbow

next to the rocks painted with your name.

Today I learned all things change,

and nothing will forever be the same,

but thats okay.
