Her

Watching her deterioration made me sick, she wasn’t my friend anymore, she was a dying creature. She wondered lost, eyes drifting and thoughts wondering off. Her body no longer an appropriate home for them. Her skin grew a fine flurry coat over it, a last ditch attempt to keep her warm, only highlighting how sick she was, how where there should be skin there was an absence. It was so so quick, one month was all it took for her to be bed bound. I look into her eyes, but she’s gone, there’s just ana now.
