Her eyes scanned the large door in front of her waiting for the games to begin. A hand reached into her pocket as she wrapped her fingers around the edges of a small piece of paper. Her gaze drifted down as she pulled the photo out of her pocket.

A smile crossed her lips as she looked down at the photo of her child. The 4 year old was waving at the camera, a big smile on his face as he slid down a park slide.

Survival is as much physical as it was mental. She knew she would need the encouragement and a reminder to keep moving forward.
