Not My Problem

(From the view of another sibling)

Screaming echoed through the house. I wasn’t scared, we had just lost our parents. But I investigated it anyway.

What I found was my younger sister Belle scanning the will up and down.

“I’m not included,” she shrieked.

I was genuinely surprised. Belle was spoiled and pampered, while my accomplishments were often overlooked.

I had grown up with it, even accepted it at this point. So when I snatched the will away and read that everything belonged to me, my only response was, “I don’t think this is my problem.”
