Did I?
Did I cross the line?
With my words, did I intertwine,
A tapestry of emotions divine?
Or did my thoughts stray,
And cause your heart to sway?
Did I paint a picture,
Of love and pain, a perfect mixture?
Or did my words pierce,
And leave you feeling fierce?
Did I touch your soul,
And make your heart whole?
Or did I go too far,
And leave a scar?
Did I dance with metaphors,
And weave in similes galore?
Or did I stumble,
And make you crumble?
Did I cross the line,
And create a work of art divine?
Or did I miss the mark,
And leave you in the dark?
Did I make you think,
And leave you on the brink?
Or did I fail,
And leave a trail?
Did I cross the line,
And make this poem shine?
Or did I fall short,
And leave you wanting more?
Only you can decide,
If I crossed the line,
With this poem that I provide,
But know that my intentions were always kind.
