Dreamscape
Water pulsating under the hand,
Short stories erupt from my breath.
A castle to create out of sand,
The sky of black and death.
A party to not be invited,
Spilled secrets during a binge.
Collapse of lung that we ignited,
Splitting eyesight of cutting fringe.
Waving to the wind that passes by,
Good luck on your journey.
One day we’ll be carried as we die,
Engaging in eternal tourney.
One love of fallen leaves,
Such beauty and how gorgeous.
My heart is open like wise trees,
Love for them is ginormous.
Cigarette burns like the plague,
But oh how pretty the scars stay.
The burnt memories are vague,
But still shine be that as it may.
Stars shining bright above war,
How sad they cry for the fallen.
Loving the dead and keeping score,
Spirits hear the calling.
Farewell beauty of old music,
I wish you well in your sleep.
Knowing you’ll be here if we choose it,
Yet for distance, we can all but weep.
