Write an Etheree poem on any theme you like.
An Etheree is a ten-line poem where the first line has one syllable, the second has two, and so on up to ten syllables (or this structure in reverse).
Midnight Messes
Her
Smile
Cheaky grin
Eyes crinkle up
I can't help but laugh
We just stand there a mess
My daughter and I alike
I can't be mad at her for long
I pull her to my chest, hold her tight
The clock rings midnight as we drift to sleep
