Strange Girl

I parked the car on Moscow St. A woman with dreadlocked-hair, and bright blue eyes with under-circles, wearing a green sweater rushed to the car.

She forced $49.99 into my hand and shouted frantically,

“Go, drive to Alaska.”

“Ma’am, we’re in New York. That would take almost a week to drive to.”

I said calmly.

“JUST GO! GO! GO!”

she screamed, as if she needed it in an instant.

“Okay..

Are you okay?”

I asked.

“…”

She turned her head and closed her eyes.

I started up the car, and started driving towards Alaska.
