Shadow’s Deal

Shadow leaned against the wall in his cell. The walls being it’s boring plain light grey color and the floor with a smooth white floor.

The small speaker in his room next to his exit of his cell made a little beep, Shadow’s antennas twitching as he was prepared to listen to whatever the speaker was about to say. “Shadow.” A voice spoke through the speaker. It was a slightly deep and serious toned voice.

“Yes, FBI?” Shadow teased, crossing his arms. He heard a small annoyed scoff, making Shadow snicker quietly. Him and FBI Dawn never got along. Ever. They always argued and fought in almost every conversation they’ve had, especially the moments where Shadow escaped the lab.

“I need you at room 500. Now. The FBI’s will escort you there.” FBI informed. There was a minute of silence before Shadow agreed to come hesitantly and stubbornly.

The FBI’s escorted Shadow there. They stood before a black colored door that had two different kinds of locks on it. Was he in trouble? Well, he didn’t remember the last thing he did wrong besides that recent escape, But he already got punished for that. One of the FBI’s knocked on the door twice and put Shadow more towards the door. He heard loud footsteps coming to the door slowly and there were loud noises of the locks unlocking. The door opened, revealing FBI Dawn with his usual angry looking face to look intimidating. Shadow rolled his eyes and sighed heavily before coming inside the room, FBI Dawn stepping to the side to let Shadow through. FBI Dawn closed the door behind him and ordered Shadow to sit in one of the chairs. There was one normal sized table and one chair on one side of the table. Shadow sat down calmly and rested one of his legs on top of the other. “So..,” FBI started, sitting down across from him and putting his hands together on the table looking straight at him.

“I was thinking of making a deal.” He told him, seeing Shadow cock his head in interest.

“What makes you think I’d help you?” Shadow retorted. FBI leaned against his chair and cleared his throat.

“You’ll have the chance to kill again.” He said. Shadow’s eyes widened and then immediately looked up towards the corner of the room where the camera would be.

“Don’t worry. I turned it off. Anyways..Would you like to do it?” He asked, his face now almost expressionless.

“This ‘deal’ you say of..Does it have any negatives? Also, why would you even want this deal? Third! Aren’t you going to get in trouble?” Shadow said, getting up his chair slightly, looking like he was talking down on him. FBI stayed silent for a bit, Shadow assuming he was processing what he just said.

“It does have one negative.” He said slowly.

“You have to take the blame kn yourself.” He added in.

Shadow looked at him thoughtfully. Why does FBI suddenly want Shadow to kill again? When all these times Shadow has always murdered many. And after all these arguments and fights?

“Um.” He said quietly, putting his hands into his pockets. Shadow made a serious look as he took the time to really think about it.

“And, I’m not going to say why I’m letting you do this. I have my reasons. Also, I’m the leader of the FBI group, I can easily persuade Dr.Lee that we aren’t doing anything bad.” FBI said, pointing to his FBI badge on his scarlet red sweater.

“Right.” Shadow replied. FBI Dawn had many advantages just for his job position in this cursed lab which was his home and everyday hell. FBI Dawn always made many persuasive excuses to the scientists on why he needed to speak to Shadow, or maybe even to have an excuse to hurt him even. He was very skilled in manipulation, which Shadow had a difficult time admitting of.

“Fine.” He said, sounding unsure of his thoughts. Was he really about to do this? Make another risk of getting in trouble again and possibly be closer to execution? Well, not unless he doesn’t get caught first.

“Excellent. I’ll see you tomorrow then.” FBI Dawn replied. Shadow saw his little evil smirk he does all the time every time something goes his way. Shadow huffed in annoyance as FBI Dawn opened the door for him to exit, seeing the FBI group waiting for Shadow to take him back to his cell.
