Creative Differences
“You walk into a room with crimson walls and red lights. Rose petals are strewn on the perfectly fitted bed. A woman lays on the fluffed pillows, facedown, blood trickling down her flesh-“
“Okay, I’m gonna stop you there,” Jerry said to the director from behind his desk.
The director, slicking back the strands of black hair that have fallen out of place, sat back in his folding chair. He was wearing dark sunglasses, but it was clear that the wind had been kicked out of his sails.
“Too much red?” He asked.
“It’s a Cheerios commercial,” Jerry said.
“Maybe it could be for a cherry flavor,” the director said. “Cherry Cherrios.”
“Thank you for your time,” Jerry said.
