You’ve come back, but I no longer need you,

I’m no longer a kid who can’t fit in any shoe,

I’ve graduated collage,

And am living by a ridge,

I don’t need parent protection,

And can shop in any section,

I’ve simply grown up,

I’m no longer a stump,

But a full grown tree,

I’ve grown into the full me,

Can’t your see?

I’ve grown older,

And can lift a boulder,

So dear parents,

I’ve left the nest,

So leave me to the rest!
