Meet-Up In The Woods

Natures thriving and flourishing summers bloom faded away from my sight, without a single thought given to the unbeknown inhabitants nurturing it with their tender warmth. A gloomy mist cast across the land. Nothing remained untouched - therefore nothing remained how it should have.

“I did what you asked.” Pleaded the innocent young girl, who steadily approached with fragile steps towards the figure within the fog.

“They’re gone.” She continued. Tears began to seep from her ingenuous eyes. “Now please leave me alone. I don’t want to hurt anybody anymore.”

The figure was somewhat similar to the girl in appearance, albeit a far more sinister take. The child wore a playfully girly dress, something you would expect from a victorian-esque barbie doll. Pink silk fitted her waist politely with a charming long skirt coating her delicate legs. Gentle brown hair knelt down all the way past to her elbows - curled exquisitely all the way through.

The figure wore a drooped gown holding a much more dull complexion. Its husky hair far surpassed its shoulders perhaps also passing the crooked knees hidden from sight. The slender figure was strangely stretched out to an intimidatingly tall height, more than double that of the girls.

“Well?!” The girl cried, emitting all of her observable desperation. “Will you leave me?!”

The figure remained static. An arm crept from under its concealing gown, like an unhinged spiders leg in length and grotesqueness.

The girls eyes widened as she caught a glimpse. Terror was the only express-able feeling while the cold touch of its arm approached. She was too scared to move away. It drew closer.

A frozen touch was felt before they had even met skin-to-skin. The girl shivered and quivered, afraid of the crooked probes reaching for her person. Tears were flooding. Her breathing intensified. Blood shot to her reddening face.

The figures finger yearned for a firm grasp. The girls eyes closed unable to bare a full comprehension of what was unfolding.

The girl seared one final scream. Letting out every last bit of air in her tiny, tender lungs.

The End.
