I take one step into the water and as my foot leaves even the smalest ripple in the what-seens-to-be-a pond, a very large sea monster of great porportions comes out. It had yellow eyes with lime geen pupils. A row of scales covered its fleshly body and a single one of its gills could fit ten men in them.

I survived, but just barely, the monster used its tongue t enwrap around my foot as it pulled me closer to its large teeth filled mouth by the second.

Thankfully, I ws able to use my knife to cut its tngue just enough that it snapped off from the tension of having to trudge my body.
