WRITING OBSTACLE
Demonstrate. Incapacitate. Solidify.
In a story of no more than 10 sentences, use these three words in any order. The point is to create a story line that allows you to link them all naturally, without forcing them into random places.
Obstacles
This training is meant to incapacitate us. I recognize the tactics from my fathers training. Mr. Smith is trying to ware us down, make us feel as though the rug has been pulled out from under us. He’s demonstrating the strength and unpredictability we face in battles. But I am familiar with unpredictability. My entire life has been unpredictable and chaotic, so much so that it’s solidified my need to be perfect, persistent, and observant.
