Thank you
“Take one shot, stranger. You’ll only get one.”
I thought to myself as I unbrushed my tangled hair into frizz balls. My grandpa told a stranger that when I was 4. I was on the swings listenting to my surroundings, and how the wind whistled through the trees. I was a very thoughtful child, determined to understand what people say.
I decided on an outfit and left for school. Nothing ever happened since I was a senior coming and going from three different schools. I never knew what I was going to specifically major in. Probably business or medical for money.
I started thinking about my grandma and grandpa. They died two years ago, but they lived for long. I miss them. I repeated to myself the thoughtful words in my heart. They rung all throughout my house.
Thank you Grandpa.
