POEM STARTER

Write a poem where the last syllable (not word) of each line rhymes with the second or third syllable of the next line.

This is one popular feature of a Thai-style poem!

Attempt #1

The last syllable must tell a story

Something with glory, might, and dashing heroes fair

How dare a mere mortal attempt such a thing

This fling will not go unpunished

Leaving unfinished a marvelous tale
