The Gyliad is a lizard like being that resides in arid environments and can freely move between the realms. It is said that it’s affinity for heat means that it’ll take the summer months to enjoy various areas of the Terran realm, moving into Leliel in the winter.

The Gyliads colour changes dependant on which realm it is currently living. The miasma from leliel darkens the Gyliads skin as such it is invisible in darkness. Terra, on the other hand, brings out the blood orange tinge that it is most well known for.

Although it is know as Hot tempered and quick to attack, Gyliads have been known to favour the children of the Terran realm, fighting to defend them against other demonic presences. That said, a bite from this creature will inevitably kill its victim within minutes, due to the necrotising enzymes within its saliva.

Needless to say, it is not recommended as a pet, unless you are a toddler that has a penchant for getting in trouble with demons.
