Self harm

Months of being clean I Felt like I’d won Summer brought warm I thought I was done days filled With laughter the sun on my face, but winter rolled in and I lost my place the nights grew so long the cold wrapped me tight old habits came back, whispering, and the night just one more slit and I thought it was fine but soon I was trapped in a dark tangled line with every new mark I felt release but the way took my choices brought no sense of place I tried to hold on but the shadows grew strong and I found myself lost in a place I belong now I'm back in the cycle the pain feels like home each scar tells a story a heart that went roam I wish I could change it but hrer I remain in the depths of the struggle where hope feels like pain
