First Day
The first day I saw you was also my last,
Stuck in a trance, unable to exist.
I didn’t understand I could want so fast,
Chasing whilst surrounded by mist.
Obstacles ahead created by your past.
For your heart I will prosper & resist.
It took seconds for the spell to cast,
& for eternity it will persist,
Because my love is that so vast.
