The Revelation
I enter a newfound area, taking it in, wondering, such inferiority.
Why did I come to a place like this, everyone around, so foolish, I hold myself with high authority.
The year goes by, I stand tall, knowing I am above all else in this place we so call “school.”
But then I meet her, a girl who, like all else, I saw as inferior, but maybe she was different, maybe, to me, she was actually cool.
I thought nothing of it, but decided to befriend her. As the year went on, I grew attached
And felt as if I wouldn’t, no, I shouldn’t, let her go, as that could ruin me, I didn’t wanna be detached.
As the year flew by, I finally find it. I finally find my revelation. People aren’t inferior because I think I’m better.
I’m inferior because I feel as though I’m better. Even though the one that truly opened my eyes was her. This is my letter.
